How the Jule Gradient Formers work in manual pumping mode:

1) Fill each cylinder with the fluids to be mixed.

2) Insert pistons and start magnetic stirrer.  Dispense the gradient by slowly pressing on the dual piston assembly by hand or use the lead screw provided on models J17 and J5.
   
Push pistons by hand..................................or........ turn lead screw to advance pistons.
